Free Animated E Cards Hallmark
While Hallmark does have E-Cards or electronic greeting cards, I can no longer find them on their website. Unfortunately, the online greeting card industry has been through many trials and tribulations with the most noteworthy being BlueMountain.com which used to offer a massive selection of free e-cards. They have since been bought out and now they charge for their online greeting cards. However, for a small price, you can purchase an animated e-card. The artwork is generally very good and worth the low price if you ask me.

Hallmark has a variety of animated greeting cards. Their easy website interface allows you to choose the occasion and recipient and then they cleverly give you options to choose from. Hallmark Internet Greeting Cards
The internet greeting cards are typically sent via email with a notice to the recipient that says, you've received an e-card. Typically the internet greeting card shows up fully animated in their email inbox. Sometimes, they may have to click a link to view the card if their email service doesn't support animated dynamic content (usually for security purposes).
Hallmark Talking Cards
Hallmark has a number of novel cards like talking and music. Some of the cards let you record a voice memo and then the recipient can play it back as many times as they want with a little hardware device hidden in the card. In addition, there are online cards that let you leave a memo too.
Free Internet Cards
If you really must have free card, there are places other than Hallmark where you can find them. However, they usually enclose an advertisement with the greeting card or make you view ads while creating your internet card. The good part is that these services are free. Do a search for free e-cards on Google and don't be fooled into installing any software. The legitimate companies don't require it (and the software is spyware!). Have fun!
